Hi gents,

I recently stumbled upon another, but a little older, but very interesting pages on the forum Modelboatmayhem. Again I repeat ..is a shame that such posts do not appear directly on the site, which is devoted to models directly TSB's

> Model Boat Mayhem - Forum > Dry Dock / Shipyard: Builds & Questions > Yachts and Sail > Costal sailing barge "Keel position"
==> http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/ ... ic=43883.0

> Model Boat Mayhem - Forum > Dry Dock / Shipyard: Builds & Questions > Yachts and Sail > Getting to grips with “Lady Daphne”
== > http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/ ... 787.0.html

I wish a lot of success in modeling

Tom :(

Interesting tricks for scratchbuilt models from modelboatmayhem
> Building tsb Lady Daphne <
I found in the article on the construction of the model Lady Daphne, as mentioned in a previous post few useful interesting details that you might be interested .
http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/ ... c=25787.25

There is a very interesting treatise on shaping sail cringles .
I attach here profi jigs photos ( for cringles making).
Described puncher in the article is homemade tool.
The trick is that , the jig is formed and split to allow the “tube” to bell at either end and be removed... it's a short comment and reference to the book "Sail making for Model Barges" by Mike Taylor.
Greetings Tom
